What qualifications do your teachers and caregivers have?

What is the enrollment process like?
Enrollment begins with an online application (https://fs30.formsite.com/Guidestar01/form110/form_login.html)and scheduling a tour of our West Philadelphia facility. For Pre-K students, we offer 1–2 hour classroom observations to help your child get comfortable in the space. During your visit, we’ll share detailed program info based on your child’s age and needs.
Are there age requirements for enrollment?
We welcome infants (https://www.tyl2.com/infants)starting at 8 weeks old. For our Pre-K program,(https://www.tyl2.com/pre-k) children must be 3 years old by September 1 of the enrollment year.
Do you have a waitlist?
At times, we do have a waitlist. Families are invited to submit all required paperwork, and we’ll notify you as soon as an opening becomes available.
What programs do you offer?
TYL II provides care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Pre-K children. Our programs (https://www.tyl2.com/programs)are designed to nurture growth at every stage.
What curriculum do you follow?
We use Creative Curriculum along with theme-based learning to keep children engaged and inspired. Our classrooms encourage exploration, play, and early academic skills through hands-on activities.
Are meals and snacks provided?
Yes - nutritious meals and snacks (https://www.tyl2.com/meals-and-snacks)are provided at no cost to families.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Do you offer year-round care or summer programs?
Absolutely. We offer year-round care including engaging summer programs (https://www.tyl2.com/summer-camp)for continued learning and fun.
Do you offer part-time and full-time care?
Yes - both part-time and full-time enrollment options are available to fit your family’s schedule.
Do you offer weekend or 24-hour daycare?
No - TYLII is open weekdays only. We do not offer weekend or overnight care at this time.

How do you communicate with families?
We keep parents informed through monthly newsletters, email updates, Procare Engage, phone calls, and in-person conversations as needed.
What is your illness policy?
Our illness policy — including COVID-19 protocols — is detailed in our Parent Handbook, available on our website. We’re committed to keeping our center safe and healthy for all children.
What security measures are in place?
Your child’s safety is our top priority. We have indoor and outdoor security cameras, locked exterior doors, and limited access for non-authorized individuals.
What should my child bring each day?
A change of clothes, weather-appropriate outerwear, diapers or pull-ups (if needed), and any comfort items are great to include. We'll provide you with a full checklist based on your child’s age and classroom.
Can I schedule a tour?
