Affordable Childcare Options at TYL II

At TYL II Preschool & Childcare, we believe every child deserves access to high-quality early learning. That’s why we proudly accept multiple forms of childcare assistance and work with a variety of state and local subsidy programs to help families afford care.

Whether you’re exploring Pre-K options or looking for support with infant or toddler care, we’re here to guide you through the process. Families interested in PHLpreK or Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts can read our free Pre-K guide for Philadelphia families for eligibility requirements, program hours, required documents, and application steps.

Childcare Subsidy Programs TYL II Accepts

TYL II partners with the following subsidy and assistance programs:

  •  ELRC (Early Learning Resource Center)

  •  Pre-K Counts

  •  PHLpreK

  •  DHS (Department of Human Services)

  •  Other state and local childcare funding programs

Please note: While we work closely with these organizations, TYL II does not determine eligibility for financial aid. Eligibility decisions are made by the individual programs.

Eligibility Guidelines

Eligibility for childcare assistance depends on several factors, including:

  •  Household income

  •  Child’s age and program

  •  Family size

  •  Employment or education status

Each subsidy program has its own criteria. We’re happy to help point you in the right direction based on your situation.

Required Documents for Financial Aid

Documentation requirements vary by program. Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts generally requires proof of household income, while PHLpreK does not have an income requirement. Families may still need documents confirming their child’s age, Philadelphia residency, and caregiver identity.

Review our free Pre-K eligibility and enrollment guide for a complete document checklist and help deciding which funding option may fit your family.
