Before & After School Care in West Philadelphia
Our before and after-school program gives school-age children a safe, welcoming place to start and end their day. With time for homework, activities, friendships, and play, children can stay engaged while still having space to relax outside of the school day.
Homework Support, Enrichment & Time to Play
After a full day at school, children need a balance of structure and downtime. Our team provides support with homework and school assignments while giving children plenty of opportunities to play, create, and connect with friends.
Indoor and outdoor activities encourage teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and confidence. Children can also participate in weekly chess lessons, giving them a fun way to build strategic thinking and concentration.
Because our program brings together children from schools throughout the area, it’s a chance to build new friendships and feel part of a community beyond their regular classroom.
Transportation to & From Local Schools
TYL II provides transportation to and from participating public and charter schools throughout West Philadelphia, making before and after-school care easier for busy families.
